About Us

Adoption Connection is one of the longest-running open adoption agencies in the country. Co-Director Lynne Fingerman, MSW, co-founded the agency in 1985. In 2001, we expanded our license to include international adoption homestudy and post-placement services.

Since its inception, Adoption Connection has completed more than 1,800 domestic infant and international adoptions.

Whom We Serve
Adoption Connection is licensed to work with birth parents anywhere in the United States.
We are licensed to work with adoptive parents in 19 counties in Northern California: Alameda, Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Marin, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba.
